A few months ago the Netherlands issued a new set of stamps about the butterflies of Saba. I reviewed them here. They are part of a four-part series looking at Saba wildlife. The Caribbean Netherlands have now also issued a set of ten stamps showing Saba's butterflies. However they are very different. There are also ten stamps, like the Netherlands issue, but they show different butterflies and the background is a coloured design based around circles instead of natural habit

Some of you might remember my review of the Saba birds issue in January. The Netherlands are creating four issues this year to celebrate Saba wildlife. The first one was the birds set, and this one focuses on butterflies. Later in the year there will be Saba wildlife stamps about underwater life and flowers. I collect all kinds of stamps but I am especially interested in butterflies. Recently I bought a small collection of butterfly stamps that included these. I thought they were very attractive and they're very nicely done. I like the fact they are triangles and the background is plain so the beautiful butterflies really stand out.
