Jersey has issued this absolutely remarkable set today showing bees. Xanthe asked if I want to review this because I am into nature and really like bees. I also really like these stamps. Jersey Stamps' website says that these stamps "feature images captured by local photographer Glen Perotte who has used his skills to showcase the miniature world of bees as extraordinary pollinators." It's a good thing to celebrate bees. They do a huge job for nature, and for us! The planet wouldn't be the same without them! Design Quality - These stamps are absolutely stunning! The photographs are so clear that you can see the tiny hairs on the bees and even the pollen on their legs. It almost feels like the bees could buzz right off the stamp.

The colours are really bright and beautiful too. The backgrounds are soft and blurry, which makes the bees stand out even more. I think the photography is incredible and makes the stamps look powerful and important, and it helps us see bees differently. They're amazing little heroes that our world depends on. 9/10

Theme and Subject Choice - I love that the theme is bees. Bees are important for the environment because they help pollinate flowers and grow food. Without bees, we wouldn’t have lots of the fruits and vegetables we eat.

It’s a really good idea to put bees on stamps because it reminds people how important they are and also why it is absolutely vital to protect them. 7/10

Historical and Cultural Relevance - You might not think there is much historical relevance, but bees have always been important for farming and growing plants. In places like Jersey, nature and farming matter a lot, so bees are a big part of that.

These stamps help show how connected we are to nature and how much we depend on tiny creatures like bees. 5/10

Innovation and Creativity - Photography doesn't always work on stamps. I think using such close-up photography is really creative and brings the bees to life. Instead of just drawing bees, they showed them in real life doing their job. It makes them look powerful and important instead of just small insects.

The different angles and colours in each stamp make the set feel exciting and different. 8/10

Collectability - I think lots of people would want to collect these stamps because they are so beautiful. People who like nature, photography, or animals would especially love them. They don’t just look nice - they also have an important message. 8/10

Personal Appeal - I think these stamps are amazing. They make bees look like tiny superheroes for the planet. When I look at them, I feel happy because they celebrate nature and show how incredible bees really are. I would definitely want these in my collection! 10/10 Overall Score - 47/60
